Early-Year Updates and Key Takeaways from 2025

Last year was strongly marked by expanding into new areas of expertise. We were involved in three data center projects, all of which have continued into this year. On these sites, we have delivered concrete structures under several different contracts. Three of these contracts are now nearing completion, while work under one contract will continue at least through the spring.

All of us have faced entirely new types of challenges, as the practices of international data center operators and foreign main contractors differ significantly from what we are accustomed to in Finland. We have adapted well to these new ways of working and have received a great deal of positive feedback from our clients. High-quality execution has resulted in additional work on ongoing projects as well as entirely new assignments.

At data center sites, occupational safety, orderliness, and cleanliness play a central role in guiding daily operations. We have gained valuable experience in these areas, which we will also apply to other projects in the future. While not all international practices can be directly transferred to Finnish conditions, open dialogue is essential, and mutual learning naturally follows from it.

Throughout the autumn and winter, we have been actively engaged in tendering, and preliminary discussions regarding future projects have taken place with various clients. It finally appears that the worst downturn in the construction industry is behind us, and better times are just around the corner. Against this backdrop, we enter 2026 with a positive outlook. Prospects in concrete construction are better than they have been in a long time, and we believe we will play a significant role in building the future of Finland in close cooperation with our clients.

In line with our strategy, this year we are seeking growth and continuing to develop into a more modern, efficient, and well-recognized player in the construction industry. During the year, we will continue working on data center projects, while also contributing to other infrastructure that is vital to the development of our society. In addition, as residential construction hopefully begins to recover, we expect building construction projects to once again form part of our order book.

The year has already started with two new orders, and the direction is clearly the right one.
