Top Building’s spring activities include planning and launching the starting projects as well as tendering for new ones.
The first months of the year have traditionally been a quieter period in the construction industry, and this year has been no exception. Fortunately, we have still had enough work to keep our own team fully employed, along with a few of our subcontracting partners.
With the arrival of spring sunshine and longer days, there are clear signs of recovery in the air. Through tenders submitted during the winter, as well as a few direct inquiries, we have secured a total of eight new orders. As a result, our order backlog has increased by approximately four million euros. This provides a strong foundation as we head into the summer and autumn seasons. Half of the projects have already started, one smaller project has already been completed, and the remaining ones will be started in May.
We would like to thank our customers for their trust – we are committed to delivering our very best in these projects as well. In these uncertain times, reliability, a strong reputation, and professional expertise are more valuable than ever. All of our spring orders have, in practice, come from returning clients we have previously worked with.
Our projects include concrete structures in the Uusimaa and Southeast Finland regions, both in infrastructure and commercial construction. As in the previous year, data center construction continues to play a significant role in our workload. By this spring, we have been involved in a total of six data center projects, making the field and its practices very familiar to us.
In addition to the new projects, we have continued work on a data center project that began last summer, which is currently expected to continue until the final quarter of 2026.
That said, we are far from satisfied – we are continuously tendering for new and interesting projects, with growth firmly in our sights. We are currently targeting several promising projects for the autumn and have already begun looking toward major projects in the coming years. In particular, the infrastructure sector will see a significant amount of concrete construction across Finland in the years ahead, and we intend to secure our share of it.
We look ahead to the summer with a positive mindset and strong expectations.
