Top Building's Carbon Footprint Calculated

The calculation was carried out as part of the Finland Chamber of Commerce Climate Program, through which we are developing our operations towards a low-carbon future.

According to the calculation, our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions totaled 175 tCO₂e, equivalent to approximately 4.4 tonnes per employee. This provides us with a solid baseline for developing our operations and planning concrete emission reduction measures.

Through this process, we have identified our main sources of emissions and can now target our actions more effectively. In the construction industry, impacts are largely driven by projects, meaning that partner selection and operating practices also play a significant role.

For us, sustainability is about continuous improvement, not a one-time effort. Calculating our carbon footprint is an important milestone, but above all, it marks the starting point for systematic work to reduce emissions.
